Don’t see it this strict, otherwise spring breakdown would lead into a dilemma.

Just noticed the kale tag, which currently has 1 picture with the vegetable kale, and about 14 pics with Kale the character from Dragon Ball.
 
Which should get the parentheses to distinguish them, “kale (vegetable)” or “kale (dragon ball)”?

Probably the latter, even with it being more common, since the vegetable is a normal thing while the character is from a non-MLP series.

The Most Evil Q&A Ever should get a yellow tag, since this is from the official Discovery Family Instagram page.

Do I tag Sandbar as stallion or colt?

Stallion, I guess? I would think colt is limited to near CMC age, and I’m not sure about teenage gendered tags. It should be whatever we use for Star Tracker, who has an identical shape.

The last time it was brought up the Mod Consensus™ was to tag him as teenager and male, which seems unnecessarily clunky and imprecise to me. If we only have Horse Words for adult and non-adult equines, just use the non-adult term for anypony who clearly isn’t an adult.

I’d tag him “stallion”, and describe him as a young stallion. His body is adult-like even though he’s not mentally matured, so reads older teenager or young adult.

Why do we use the tag buffalo for bison? Because the alleged buffalo from the show are actually bison, and it irks me that we tag it wrong.

They’re called “Buffalo” in the show, so even though it is indeed gratingly incorrect, it’s still show-accurate.

And oh my goodness, they keep doing it.

I just noticed that some whitekitten images have tags along the lines of “X raping Y”. After a brief inspection, it seems they are almost all limited to whitekitten content, some even only being present in 2-4 images that form a set (e.g. “starlight glimmer raping pinkie pie”). Even when they encompass several unrelated images (“princess celestia raping twilight sparkle”), they’re still all whitekitten commissions.  
Personally, I find that almost completely useless; from a general point of view, tags are supposed to be nouns, and if we start trying to express relations through them, it would really need a much more powerful ontological system than the current one, so I would still stay away from “X [interacting with/relating to] Y” type tags (“X, [interaction], Y” is a good enough approximation io the vast majority of cases anyway). That’s even if they were used beyond the scope of one guy’s commissions, which they don’t seem to be.  
However, I thought I’d double-check with some more experienced members before removing them. Thoughts?

The “x raping y” tags were made by site staff, but it doesn’t seem like they ever caught on.

It looks like it’s being curated by some anon, and it seems to involve SFW artist’s making their first NSFW picture. It seems to me that’s something that should be a gallery, not a tag.
