A couple of months. Not many people knew/cared about that tag name and it was aliased to something more obvious. Not to mention the spelling is non-obvious.

That seems fine to me. It’s a shame that x-ray itself is not the tag for actual x-rays and the porn one doesn’t have something else.

I’m afraid nobody is going to remember that. At least if it starts the same as the original x-ray tag, the fancy tag box will prompt people with both options so they might notice there’s a difference between the two.

You could use “radiograph”? It’s a bit more general but precise enough, and as a bonus it’s also not accidentally taggable if “X-ray” is intended.

What’s the difference between choking and strangling? Searching choking,-strangling vs. -choking,strangling seems to have some overlap.

What I’ve heard, from an introductory self-defense course where they taught me the proper way to strangle someone:
~~“Choking” is cutting off someone’s air supply by constricting their windpipe.
~~“Strangling” is cutting off someone’s blood supply to their brain by constricting specific arteries in the neck. (When done properly, strangling renders your target unconscious much quicker and more safely.)
Not sure if that’s how Derpi distinguishes them or not.

You can also “choke on a mouthful of food” and “strangle on a low clothesline”. So they’re not always things being done to you.

Keep in mind that you can choke on food. Strangling is also a “blood choke” instead of an “air choke”, so I think choking is just the superset, of which strangling is a particular variety.

As to what is abuse, consider that it’s spoilered by the Default filter. That’s meant for like, corporal punishment and image macros about how Spike is basically a slave, not funny bits of art.
