I do not know if it’s a place to complain, but I note that the tags of Supernova Zap and Kiwi Lollipop appear in green instead of cyan as the characters tag.

You link tags you want changed so it’s easy for the staff member to fix them. And we have a character tag thread for this very reason. Please use it.

Why are so many of artist 徐詩珮 images tagged vector? They are obviously not vectors.

I don’t see any under that tag with vector rn, but they were probably untagged.

Really? I see several, there’s a ton of what are quite clearly raster drawings.  
I think they maybe took what were originally vector drawings and turned them into shoddy rasterized recolours.

I get the feeling it’s probably because people see the tag vector and just assume it’s anything “show style” like, instead of actually from an SVG. I could be wrong however.
 
Edit: Is there a reason some people submit svg files, while others submit pngs instead? Right now, there’s 24 images under .svg available,dead source. Should the svg available tag be removed from those? Would it make sense to replace the files with svgs to prevent dead sources making them unobtainable?
 
Also is there any way to mass check a tag’s images source to see if they’re dead links?

Probably because a lot of people have no idea they can upload SVGs, or they’re from DA sources that have SVGs but the DA image is a png, or they prefer uploading PNGs instead, which is stupid. >:v

A lot of DA emigrants seem to think that a vector is any PNG with a transparent background. Even a screencap with the background erased…
 
Deviantart stopped accepting SVG for free accounts several years ago so most people probably just upload the same PNG file everywhere.
 
That or they don’t want people inspecting/raiding their SVG source to edit it.

DeviantArt is shit and if I had the money I’d buy them and then fire every last one of their staff and make the unemployable.

No kidding. I don’t know what it started out like, but I have never seen a more badly run site outside of Tumblr. Not a single one of their updates in the past few years seems to have been made to actually fix anything – each one just makes the site more and more of a pain in the ass to use.

damn, that’s dedication to specifically pinkie being a grump. And I guess acceptable in the event pinkie is in a picture with another character who is sad while she may not be, so searching “pinkie && (sad || depressed || frowning)” or something would not yield the same results.
