“I’m a historian.” Texty replied. “Both Changeling and Equestrian. Freelance, more or less. I am usually called in to inspect the authenticity and quality of artifacts, as my echolocation allows me to ‘see’ detail that the eye can miss.”

Looks over to Texty “Another unfamiliar voice, no doubt? This is my friend, Gerald Dalton. We met each other several months back. He was also a human who got teleported here too”

“Huh. I must have missed a lot. I do get so caught up in the past that I miss out on the present.” Texty said. “It’s good to meet you, too.”

“Sorry, kind of hard to read newspapers if I can’t see them.” Texty said. “In any case, I just wanted a change of pace, relax here for a bit, though I’m also charged with examining artifacts in the Castle of the Two Sisters.”

“Oh, I will have bodyguards to escort me. As for what I’m going to look at specifically… Well, a lot of stuff.” Texty said. “Armors, some jewelry, tapestries…”

Me: “Uhhh, Gerald, I’m no Equestrian expert but I’m pretty sure you’d need clearance for this sort of thing. It’s not like they just let random peopl-ponie-WHATEVER into their expedition!”

“You do indeed need a permit. The Everfree Forest is dangerous after all.” Texty said.

“Yeah, hanging out would be good, and I’d love to hear about the history of your world!” Texty said.
