Graz: A name given to Olmerans old enough to have lived before their kind was a space race. And by that I mean their first guy in orbit not interstellar space. Among them though the old homeguard is made of people who are not only that old but had been into security, enforcement or combat related roles since that era and distinguished themselves. No need to say that to survive more than 2000 years in that field is a testament to their quality in itself.

Graz: Well they don’t have enhanced mutant intelligence like your people can do, the Olmerans don’t have mutation tech. But they have the above average intelligence their long life experience provide.

Graz: Ah, of course they have that too else they wouldn’t be very good at being an elite force.

Graz: They are based on the Olmeran homeworld in the government district which is actually a fortress city where the directorate and some high up of their economic monopole organization rule their kind. That also imply that when their homeworld is invaded they are there to defend it. They have also a minor branch in their second most populous planet to keep a watch for eventually rebellion that could arise there.

They are also often use as bodyguards for the high ranking Olmerans rulers, but aware of their talent these people often also use them on critical mission in the occupation of backward and pre-space planets like Ascony in the cold war they fight against the other exterior systems species. That’s why we encountered some in the Vilnavian presidential palace that was occupied by their monopole chief of operation for Ascony.

Despite being Olmerans they are often armed with foreign weapons like fyrrian ray guns or Tozan guns for the strongest of them. Cause their own kind arsenal isn’t the best. You will even find some of them using Yltels suits with their mounted gravity generator to be able to jump 3 floor high or jump from a dropship without pods but they usually prefer heavier kind of armors.

They are usually skilled swordsman because well when some of them started their career swords was the higher technology available at the time, and grenadiers which was invented soon in their history, even before the bow I think.
Today of course they use energy blades that can cut though metal easily and don’t carry old fashioned swords just for style points.

Graz: They lower the effective mass of the person wearing the suit therefor reducing the gravity force on it. They can lower it by around 2/3. Actually their real purpose for the Yltel who created them was to use them to reduce their own weight to manageable levels when they wear a water filled suit.

Hardship: A aquatic species, or improvised radiation shielding?

Graz: They are semi aquatic. They can breath in air but their skin would feel discomfort after a while without water.
