Ahead, what would appear to be heat lighting can be seen silently flashing within clouds on the horizon…
[ ♬ ] The floor convulses and melts all around, then seeps out what would seem to be water forming into marshy puddles across the ground. As the lightning continues momentarily lighting up the pitch darkness, more and more dense foliage seems to sprout across the ground into view on every flash…
@AngelChu Low flames erupt across the water and mud, as if fuel slicks scattered throughout the area had spontaneously ignited. Not too far away, a meager trail of planks over the marsh can now be seen stretching opposite ways…
@AngelChu The path stretches on endlessly with no changes in direction or surroundings, but a dense fog/smoke begins to rise in place, blocking view all around of the flashing horizon… attention drawn back to nearby, something suddenly stirs within adjacent waters on one side of the trail.
@AngelChu The fire across the waters extinguishes to the attack, dimming the area…
Suddenly, a pallid-looking limb shoots out from the water right next to the planks Dyspo stands on, then wraps tightly around his leg, yanking him downward into the puddle. As he turns looking into the water…
@Coriolanus The Ghostling would then tap into the second stage of his Ghost state Forcing his way out of the puddle before flying straight out of it and continued within the wooden path This time in the air
@AngelChu Above, flashes of near-silent lightning stay directly overhead without falling behind, as if tracking Dyspo now. The low din of muffled thunder is suddenly broken by a loud crash, as something slams down into the planks ahead, then explodes. As dirt-clods rain heavily back down, the trail is now no longer seen stretching ahead or back.
@AngelChu With the flames all suddenly snuffed, and the world enveloped in near-total darkness between lightning flashes, a small unbroken mote of light is spotted far off to the side, while below, the pallid thin bodies of various species crawl out of the water, then begin piling up upon one another in attempt to grab and pull Dyspo down again. Looking down, their faces can all be seen looking straight back; each of their pairs of black orbs for eyes twinkling under the lightning while locked unto their quarry.
@AngelChu The faces gurn bizarrely in pain just as the flashes in the sky subside, then as the lightning surges again, they, alongside sable-armored equestrians appearing among them between the flashes, shoot upward with livid expressions, atop even more bodies piled beneath. As they seize around Dyspo again, the distant mote of light fades as the emaciated mob begins to pull in every direction against Dyspo's limbs, inducing extreme pain as tendons and skin begin tearing.
@Coriolanus "Daemon! Help! Now!" He Said As He Was Quickly covered in blackness before seeing the Exit in the sky While clawing off some of his attack's but mostly random one's to use as stair's But….It wasn't without gaining injuries to his mind since If he dies….He goes brain dead
@AngelChu With Dyspo's well-being in the dream bearing no tenure at all in the already strenuous invasion turned awry, the bodies make quick work as he remains within their grasp, rendering and dividing him hundreds of times between hundreds of pale forms struggling to claim a piece. As the senses and sounds soon fade, Horace himself wakes out of the experience, no longer having to host someone trespassing within his consciousness. The stallion stirs half asleep sunken into a large chair, then rests with his mind all to himself again.
(He was already not supposed to be able to do anything at all inside his head given the totems, just deal with it.)
@Coriolanus (Didn't think this was a Dream to be honest, I just thought this was within his mind) Dyspo meanwhile at the castle began to drool a little while falling onto a pile of rubble Before waking up….Not to "Dying" But because a Bug flying into his mouth And "Dying"
@AngelChu Given what little was discovered, what Dyspo had experienced was likely Horace's idea of a future imagined in the aftermath of House Earthborn being eliminated, with the Laughter Cult taking advantage of resulting deaths in their massive populace known to be larger than any other Equestrian House.(I haeb 2 slep now <-<)
@AngelChu [ ♬ ] He would be confronted by one stallion in unmarked mercenary's clothing, waiting at the entrance. Looking around, an intimidating retinue of at least two-dozen equestrians can be seen nearby similarly clothed.
The expected arrival, weapons, and lack of any unicorns in their group hint they may possibly be Earthborn, disguised however since the old kingdom castles are widely believed used as seats of house in the Everfrees.
Unfamiliar to him, the confronting stallion waits for a response, assuming Dyspo to be the one he'd been sent to assist in the proposed hitjob.
@Coriolanus The Ghostling caught wind of this before going along with it Putting on a different tone of voice "He's Somewhere in the trench's! But got knocked out by him!" He Said secretly creating a clone making it run away in a nearby trench while shooting bow's at the Earthborn missing purposely
@AngelChu Unwilling to jump to conclusion in an already dicey and vague plot they'd agreed to assist in, the disguised crew duck behind trees and toppled castle masonry, then wait and see who they hear and assume may be already in pursuit of the whoever they saw running.
@AngelChu Alarmed, the Earthborn retreat into the castle, sealing the old metal doors behind them. With the entrance braced, the team moves further into the ruins, eventually cordoning themselves off into several intact rooms with no breaches open to the outside, as the vague plan had originally been to assist the stranger who'd lead them.
With the building partially turned into a sanctuary, the leader assists the pony-at-arms wounded by the arrow, snapping it by the fletchings, then pulling it through. "You're fine… all of you, keep trained on the doors and windows. We may have to be here for a while…"
