what will the fandom complain about this season?

That the power ponies episode is random and has no morals?

Even in S1 there were some butthurt about Over a Barrel and felling pinkie keen

How the story arc is handled and eventually what’s inside that damn box.

If the box plot device is badly executed, they’ll complain about that.

I’ve heard months of people bitching about what Twilacorn changed. Now that season 4 is proving them wrong, they bitch about that too. People complained that her friends would be bowing and calling her princess all the time. First conversation throws that in their face, they complain about it.
 
They said then “now she’s gonna be all superior and royal and shit”. Now they say “it’s so stupid how humble she is, they’re trying so hard to make her look the same as before”.
 
The show is head on going through the list of worries and complaints since the end of season 3 and disproving every single one, about Twilight and Discord. People hate it.
 
I’ve heard arguments that essentially boil down to “how dare the show still be good”.
 
 
There’s a point where you have to give up on some people. They’ve dedicated their place in the fandom to despising every second of it.
 
Name an episode and someone will claim to despise it. That won’t change now.
 
I promise you whatever come out of that mystery box, no matter what, they’ll hate that too.

Probably nothing. I dunno, people who weren’t OK with big changes to the show before have probably stopped watching already. At most it’ll probably be either people complaining about their favorite backround ponies not getting enough cameos/a major role or people crying “PANDERING” when a vague reference to the fandom or focus on fan favorite characters is made.

Thankfully these people seems to be a shrinking minority. If you will check the latest page of for anti twilicorns: what will it take you will see that a lot of people who didn’t like decision to crown twilight received the new season opener rather positively.

From what I’ve seen now in this thread is people pointlessly complaining about:
 
Twilight being a Princess = Overpower Mary Sue (Explain me that logic please)  
Twilight, even after being a princess, still the same  
Background Characters not having their screen time  
If a BP have a speaking role, it’s gonna be “pandering”  
People complaints  
Luna not having her S1 model during flashbacks
 
Give me more of this insanity, I need more.
 
 
What I’m legitly complaining? Leaked episodes. That is all.

Faust said that Luna’s appearance in Season 1 could be a side effect of being weakened by the EoH, so her Season 2 and beyond appearance could be how she normally looked.
