What life lessons should be taught in future episodes?

FiM is full of good morals and values, but there are plenty more that haven’t been touched so far. What friendship lesson do you think still needs to be learned?
 
I personally think it’s time for a “don’t take your friends for granted” episode.

Hang on, isn’t “Don’t take your friends for granted” sort of a moral of Return to Harmony, in a way? I could be wrong, I don’t quite remember.

While I personally think the producers will never do an episode with a “don’t take your friends for granted” moral, because it kinda goes against the whole “friendship is magic” thing, I find your suggestion hilarious (in a good way :D ) and I would actually want to see an episode like that.
 
As for my own suggestion, I don’t know, I suck at morals XD, maybe a “don’t let the hardships of life ruin your happiness”? or something like that ¯(°_o)/¯

The thing with not taking your friends for granted is that several episodes have dealt with that (maybe not explicitly but they have)
 
Suited is about taking a friend for granted… You know I have quite forgotten the others I was going to suggest.
 
No matter, you can think of others.  
But it could still be done, since it hasn’t been directly addressed.

Maybe “sometimes you have to look out for yourself, but always trust your friends to have your best interests at heart.”
 
Sort of a “your friends will understand/help” thing.

“Be mindful of those around you. You’re not the only person out there and you can seriously hurt someone if you’re not careful.”

“Sometimes, not everyone is going to like you.”

That was more that “some people need help to see friendship and treat it differently.”

So long as it isn’t “drugs are bad m’kay” but more subtle.

“Someday, you’ll have to part ways with your friends.”

How about “It’s okay to be upset with your friends sometimes, even if it seems to be just your problem. Don’t bottle your feelings up, but use them to improve your friendship.”
 
Everyone knows that friends can be the most annoying people in the world without even realizing it, because they have a certain habit that just gets on your nerves.  
I can see some of the Mane 6 having issues with addressing such problems, especially when all the others don’t seem to be bothered by it at all. Plagued by guilt they keep up a façade of happiness, until they can’t take it anymore. In the end the truth is told and the causer of the annoyance promises to try not to do whatever it was that annoyed her friend (so much). Hugs ensue and the friendship is improved.

When I was watching A Friend in Deed, I was seriously hoping that would be the lesson.  
Not everyone is going to want to be your friend. Don’t try to force people to like you, or they’ll dislike you. You can still be nice to each other without being friends.

As it strikes a deep personal chord with me, I would like to see:  
“Never cook bacon without a shirt.”

An assortment of life lessons, either things I wish I’d known at a young age or which I think would make good episodes:  
“A friend and a girlfriend are usually different things.”  
“A true, true friend doesn’t contradict you in front of cops.”  
“Yes, your friend will probably get mad if you hit on his sister.”  
“Friends can be wrong sometimes. And even if it makes them mad, you may have to say so.”  
“If your friend likes another friend of yours and you’re not interested, put in a good word, man. And if you are interested, tell me so we can all avoid doing something stupid.”  
“Asking your friends for help when you need it can be the only way to get things done. But if you ask for it too much or for things that are a pain in the ass to do, maybe don’t do that so much.”  
“Pals are the ones you just have fun with; friends are the ones you can trust.”  
“If your friends don’t dance, they’re no friends of mine!”  
“Always have bail money set aside.”  
“Hooves off your friends’ very special someponies!”  
“Don’t kick your friends in the nards unless it’s over between you.”

“Sometimes people who say that they’re your friend really don’t care about you.”  
“Know when/where you draw the line with a friend’s behavior.”

“Not all your friends are willing to become friends with benefits”

Dont do drugs kids

They have to do a death episode. Like, someone dies and they have to learn about death.
 
Extra points if they kill off an established character instead of introducing someone just to die.

I just thought of a good one:
 
“There’s always going to be someone better than you at something.”
