Firstly, if that’s what you genuinely think, I’m sorry. Secondly, while I do value fairness the most, I suppose how someone moderates like with everything fiction is subjective. Can’t please everyone, yes? I do follow rules but until someone breaks them and gets away with it or exploit some loopholes.

We both admit to acting poorly just because of others, but this isn’t how the rules work, this is boundary pushing. I’m sorry for doing the same bad behavior and being a hypocrite.

I also value honour as well, but whether or not the person realises their own mistake or someone else points it out, it’s much better to simply reflect on what we did wrong then apologise. It’s a simple thing but not that easy for everyone it seems. And since you said it first, I accept it and will also apologise. Mutual respect is key to living on in life.

To get back on track, I’ve been rewatching all of MYM

I think I’m liking Zipp more than Sunny with more and more episodes I watch, even Izzy is slowly starting to overtake her, albeit for other reasons. Also, I don’t know what the general consensus is, but The Jinxie Games is still a funny episode, the rules not making any sense and seeing Hitch fail to get a trophy is still hilarious.

hmmm … I think that might be healthy for me to do, too … do you have a link that has them as a bunch and in order? When I look on YouTube I just get ads or a hodge podge of people reviewing or reacting to them.

Apologies accepted. Admittedly though I didn’t even know your comments were aimed at me so I was never offended at all.

I hate all the Hitch shipping because that’s what all people talk about with Hitch and nothing else. Hitch is less of a character but more of an object at this point.

Agree. I was a huge Hitch fan when I was really into MLP and didn’t care for any ships involving him. I liked how G5 showcased a parent-child relationship involving him instead of a typical romantic relationship! Single dad Hitch for life XD

Also, really makes you think if he were a female if the same thing would be happening :/ sucks a man can’t have female friends without people desperately wanting to form relationships out of it.

MLP A Maretime Bay Adventure game had the best depiction of Sunny besides the movie. I loved how she actually helped and talked to other ponies and even gave them advice.

It also gave a pretty good ending to Sprout. Teaching him how to accept change.

This. I like that the show went out of its way to show that Hitch is just “one of the girls”, so to speak. At least in canon. And let’s be honest, if he was a mare instead literally most of his interactions with the girls wouldn’t be seen as shipping fuel. That’s how heteronormative some people are, unfortunately.

Never to the same extent. Probably because too many people think hetero = more probable to be canon, and canon = valid. At least from what I’ve seen. Homosexual ships are taken less seriously, whereas hetero get treated as if it’s officially being implied by the narrative, even if they’re all canonically just friendly interactions.

Are we talking about the same series? Hitch would be EVEN more popular and shipped even more if he was a girl.

The lesbian tag is way bigger than the straight tag here for starters. (Woah actually it’s the heterosexual tag it’s bigger than.’ I’m surprised they’re not combined honestly.

Something being popular on this site does not reflect the fandom as a whole. Flash x Twilight was a popular ship among younger fans, specially teen girls, but here almost everyone hated it.
You are not wrong that Hitch would be more liked if he were a girl, but more shipped? You seriously understimate the amount of people that are really only shipping him because he’s a guy as opposed to him having actual chemistry with the girls.
But my point was that lesbian (or gay) ships are never “a threat” the same way hetero ships are to some people. Sunny x Izzy, as popular as it is, is not widely considered an actual possibility the same way Sunny x Hitch is. That’s why major shipping wars tend to be all among straight ships when it comes to canon.

That’s some big assuming in multiple ways. I liked Flash/Twilight, I still like it.

Unfortunately some of that reason is pov self insert stuff.

After seeing how ‘passionate’ people are about shipping the mane 6 (offsite too) and compared to shipping wars in this fandom and others i’m going to have to disagree. :y

Especially with large comminuties.
