Yes that’s true, but I always found it lazy for artist to just draw a female character but say its a dude or vice versa, I mean come on!

I find a character like Yamato from One Piece a better example than Luz.

Oh yeah no argument there Yamato is horrible but to her credit she is just confused and is written more as a joke.
I am talking more about characters like Luka Urushibara in Steins Gate and others like that

I wish they rebooted G4 instead.

One of the earlier G5 pitches was a rebooted G4, complete with earth pony Twilight and pegasus Pinkie Pie.

Are we talking about Luz from Owl House? Because that is clearly a girl.

I beg to differ that it is simply because of the idea being a reboot.

I like the Mane 5 better than the Mane 6, Make Your Mark Chapter 1 was great, and I like Hitch better than the rest of the Mane 5 and Misty.

No, I’m not trolling. I just never got super-attached to the Mane 6 as a whole despite really liking Fluttershy and being really interested in Twilight, did a whole essay on why MYM’s opener is terribly underappreciated, and while I dig all of the Mane 5 and Misty, I can not stand backhanded praise for Misty and Zipp that treats them like “the only good characters” for the life of the me.

I also have more unpopular pony opinions than just these, but these three circulate my mind the most. Probably because they’re the big three I’m certain are unpopular.

Preach! In my Opinion cancel the 5G and give us more G4, the quality difference of the shows are so enormous its not even funny

I’ll always believe that after a full decade, bronies got more than enough (especially compared to many other fandoms) and it’s time for the next generations to have their own thing instead of G4 having a stranglehold on MLP’s future.

That said, I also can’t say I’m remotely impressed with G5, at least after the premiere movie… But then again, I’m not the intended audience. And I wasn’t that for G4 either.

I’ve always rolled my eyes at people equaling “tomboy” to “lesbian.” Though Rainbow’s hair being, well, rainbow probably didn’t help her case.

Related, I’ve also always been amused at Rainbow being depicted as so much of a tomboy that she’d only wear a tuxedo at her wedding or other formal events… when she’s always been into dresses, starting as soon as getting ready for the Grand Galloping Gala in season one and extending to Equestria Girls.
