Hitch stopped being interesting after the Make Your Mark Special

There was no reason for Hitch to be the only pony that can understand animals. That’s just favouritism

“Everything Is Gonna Be Okay” Was a cute, fun song. Like the instrumental. But the auto tune on Rocky and Jazz ruined it

It’s one of the few character traits he has that makes him stand out.

Gonna have to disagree with this too. I don’t see why it’s unfair when earth ponies have plant power already and nopony else shows as much care toward animals as he does. Plus he is cute with that.

Besides it’s not like other Pegasi other than Fluttershy should understand animals too.

If it was just “Jazz” then I wouldn’t care for her name. But her being “Jazz Hooves” is awesome.

Yeah. A while ago I looked up if there were any other characters named Jazz… Jazz Hooves is the best in my opinion

Oh yeah, Hitch is one of the main cast. Definitely makes sense for him to get some “favouritism”.

I mean in the way that the BP used it, him being the only one who can understand animals. They just did that to give more traits to Hitch and make him a more interesting character. I think it would be odd if a character like Zipp or Pipp had that ability.

I don’t think Sparky is that bad sure, I’m not a huge fan of the design and would’t say I like him. I would say I’m more neutral/don’t care, but… he has potential and his colour pallet is alright. I think the ears and the wings need to be changed

But i’d much rather see him on screen instead to some other characters like Rufus for example

Eh, I still don’t see it that way. Besides, it’s not like it’s a bad thing since Hitch is a pretty interesting character overall.

I honestly wish the both of them were created without any powers since I feel like it creates/created more harm than good.

I think G1 looks gorgeous!
I do like the pony designs better there than in g5 or g4 (those are good too but I like the head shapes more)

I can see why G1 faces look more like actual horses. There’s a certain realism that id missing with more humanlike faces of G4 and 5.

Grantef G1 came at a tine when tv anination was very rudimentary before the 90s but I do like their faces.

And I love the 80s fantasy atmosphere. It felt more otherworldly.

Relatedly, I hate when people call the G4 faces cats. They seem more like goats to me, albeit with the eye positions of cats.

A lot of the cartoons of the 80’s were realistic with their character designs, it was the aesthetic of the time until the following decades made things more cartoony and stylized.
