Evil!Starlight will always be the best villain from FiM. Being more grounded and realistic made her much more effective as an antagonist.

Hmm…I can’t really pick a favourite. Starlight would probably come out ahead if not for her weak backstory… but then, many other villains have no backstory at all.

At first, I thought it was just a silly novelty song that was gonna age badly in the future and be forgotten, but after a few lessons, I dig the song. It’s still gonna age poorly, but i’ll still listen to it afterwards.

Sombra is interesting, because he has very little personality - though admittedly, more than he used too - and largely coasts on his (pretty impressive) success rate and reputation.

Cozy Glow is my current fave villain(ess), but I gotta agree with you on Glim Glam. no one will ever top the Glimster.

I think her redemption made her FAR more tolerable than her season 5 self.

I take Tirek in the final season 4th finale. However Starlight as villain, her methods were frightning. However I love her as good and bad pony.

Tirek’s all well and good, but I think his methods were too heavily grounded in fantasy to make him seem like a real threat. Comrade Starlight used some very real tricks we see with actual dictators, making her a far more tangible threat.

The fanbase should just straight up act as if the Dutch leak never happened and discourage people from sharing anything about it.

Sombra is an example where oftentimes you don’t need a good personality to be a good character, just what your actions do. What he did in the Season 3 premiere is still one of the greatest things that any villain has ever done in this show with Cozy Glow being behind.

Yeah, at the time he seemed disappointingly flat, but I’ve since come to appreciate his presence. (The episodes themselves still suck though - he’s just the strong point.)

I’m not expecting that to undo the damage - some of it is irreversible, of course - but I think we can at least try to help prevent it from spreading to people who don’t religiously follow everything that happens.
