G3 managed to start off somewhat decently, but it felt like its quality went downhill starting with it adding extreme focus to the Core 7. It felt like something that was in early G3 was missing later on, but I can't think of what.


 
EDIT: I think it may likely be the series getting flanderized oin its chomeer wand optimismy. Not sure if flanderization actually happened, but I'm thinking about it.
