Sunset Shimmer Thread

A question I asked on Fimfiction too - how, if at all, would you change first movie villainess Sunset to better match her portrayal thereafter?

I don’t think you can change villain sunset to fit good sunset because they’re completely different people; you would have to make good sunset match up with villain sunset instead.

You’d have to better demonstrate that her pride made her overly ambitious and entitled. She’s hurting people but she doesn’t mean to be cruel. Cruelty is just the method she decided on to achieve her goal. She’d need someone to exemplify that. Some kind of Spike analogue.

You’d want to make it one character. Someone loyal that’s afraid of her wrath but isn’t afraid of her. Someone that genuinely believes Sunset deserves what she wants. You could probably rework Flash into that position.
