The poison joke is often unstable and is implied you cannot really control the magical effects.

It’s likely the moment she tries to shave her hair it will quickly grow again, meaning she’d have to wash out the magic which as noted at the end of the episode, it will go back to scratch one. Many of the poison joke effects are also made with the intrinsic purpose of hamper the user and magic in Equestria often displays a will of its own so it could be risky.

Though I do find contrived in hindsight that mane magic is tricky since many other magical feats are far more powerful.

That sounds like a cool concept. Fluttershy would not be the violent type for sure. Rarity would prefer “sophisticated” measures of war. I imagine Pinkie with bombs saying “Surprise!” And so on.

I can make a mean banana smoothie courtesy of a lesson taught from my dad, I would be perfect for working in Sunny’s smoothie cart
