Deer are an unknown. There was a deer up for adoption in Filli Vanilli, so presumably their intelligence is on the level of common animals*, but then the reindeer in Best Gift Ever were intelligent.
Fluttershy fed fish to her animals once. I don’t think she would care about fish.
*Even common animals are more intelligent than their earth counterparts. May the Best Pet Win showed they are capable of limited reason and understanding directions, such that one could argue they are sapient. Maybe they can’t debate philosophy, but they’re not dumb animals.

been wanting to adopt a changeling OC for a while now (I’ve got a design created) but there’s three problems.
- I want her to have an air of occult feeling like grogar has but it doesn’t seem to work for bug ponies
- want her to have at least one stable part of herself despite being a shapeshifter
- having a changeling OC makes her kinda odd to use outside of an MLP context (my current OC dosen’t have this problem)
any thoughts? I could really use the input.
