Scrappy was fine in Ghoul School.  
The show with just him,Shaggy and Scooby was also fun,after his voice got better. Some people still hate his voice though.  
Whatevs.  
I do like Spike far more than Scrappy by the way.

One thing that G5 might be able to have that will appeal to fans is a pretty sweeping epic story. I hope the G5 tv show will also explore the huge land of Equestria and even have new creatures and lore.

I wish we got episodes that developed the supporting cast of the show like Cheerilee or Zecora.

Well, while i don’t know how popular G5 will be, i think it may at best be equal to G4.

A major corporation using nostalgia to try and sell its products? Nooo. That would never happen. I imagine G5 is going to be a short lived series. Three seasons, maybe. G4 was very much a product of the time. I’m sure a silent majority of the brony community will give it a shot but the show was always going to be compared to an idealized vision of G4 and meeting that expectation is nigh impossible. I’m sure it will do well with the girls 5-12 demographic but realistically (or pessimistically) it won’t capture the same audience G4 did.

You know I feel like the idea of an activist uniting all the mistrustful and hateful Equestrian races sounds like a great story perfectly keeping with the themes of Friendship is Magic and Equestrian lore.
 
But I also feel like this story could have had more leeway and freedom if it were its own universe. By being part of G4, the writers will really have to think carefully how to approach this mammoth of a concept without butchering the previous lore. It will be a bit tough working within the restraints of a previously established universe.
 
I still I think it has a chance but I’m cautiously optimistic.

What if g5 just ignores g4 almost entirely? We know there will be at least some connection,but what if? Or after the initial movie they decide to start over?
