Stupid stuff that comes to mind that we want to post (pony version)

The only one of the Mane 6 that’s actually more faithful to their element of harmony is Twilight Sparkle. Why? She uses magic all the time, like all unicorns.

Except that as the show’s title suggests, her Element is more about friendship than hornwaving, and she’s an antisocial introvert. And every other character associated with the Element has severe friendship issues of their own as well.

Pretty much - they each struggle with it, but still manage to embody it a good portion of the time. Which makes them well-suited to teach it - a role prodigies are notoriously ill-suited for.

Then the element should be called “The Element of Friendship” I know, it sounds kinda generic or obvious, but at least it won’t confuse me when it comes to the word “magic” because at this point calling it the element of Magic confuses me with real magic rather than the magic of friendship.

Several of the Elements have somewhat rough names - but considering it’s probably just the first words that came to mind when the Princesses (who held three each) tried to describe them, it’s honestly a wonder they got it so close.

Because last time I debated about Fluttershy’s recent bitchiness post-Season 2, I told them that she’s the element of Kindness and what she did to her friends and Zephyr Breeze in recent seasons is the opposite of kindness. But people won’t believe me, and thus I told about Twilight’s element (in regards that the elements of harmony doesn’t dictate the Mane Six’s personality) before knowing that the Element of Magic is about The Magic of Friendship rather than literal unicorn/alicorn magic.

So due to your own inability to understand tough-love and that kindness needs to be firm to not be abused and misused, you can’t understand that Twi’s magic is about friendship.

Fluttershy is kind, but a large part of that is becasue she chooses to to be when other people would let anger or selfishness make them unkind. (Not always - she’s not perfect.) Zephyr is a special case - no-one can get under your skin like family, especially when they’re hurting other family.

What Luna actually did is more important than what she could have potentially done, and what she did was not much at all.
 
Celestia absolutely needed to be in Magic Sheep because, like I said, Celestia was the only pony Luna hurt. She forced her sister to be reminded of her loss every night for a thousand years. It was fine to structure Luna’s episodes around her subjects but too often it was like the show forgot Celestia existed (on the other hand, the show forgot Luna existed until season 2).

Admitted. Not to mention it makes me feel like Big Mac will never get to know or like Fluttershy, not even after Filli Vanilli. Leading him to date someone else. (Would you date someone that has anger issues, tbh?) By that I mean, Sugar Belle. I’m sorry if I am still not over FlutterMac being ignored by the crew just because it isn’t canon.

For one ep of season 2, than was remembered again in season 3. And seeing how many Luna ep we had since than, and how little impactful Celestia appearances by the time of Magic Sleep, that’s not an accurate comparison.

We saw both times she was NMM outside of the moon, and outside of property damage, she didn’t do anything impactful.

But as stated, said actions and the impact seem inconsistent. We can choose which we consider flawed - but choosing the impact (as you have) makes it flawed indeed, wheras the depiction may simply be incomplete.
