As I mentioned above, you’re posting links to the file on the server, like this:
 

 
You instead need to post a link to ‘the id’ of the image, like this:
 

 
That results in the below, which the site renders as a linked image, and it also respects people’s filters:
 

 
(the s/t/p determines the size that is shown)  
Of course, WebM’s don’t always work right when linked like this, but it is at least linked to the original.
