Season 8 Episode Discussion [Spoilers, possible leaks, rumours etc.]

I could understand why Thorax was the only leader who was hesitant to go to war, considering how he wants to have the changelings be a peaceful kingdom instead of trying to conquer the other nations like Chrysalis did.

Some people really hated the idea of trying to corrupt the show’s world with such human concepts as a corrupt government.
 
Just look at peoples’ opinion of Tyrantlestia headcanons and depictions.

Makes me wonder what ending dialogue we would be in store for if they “won”.

I think Pinkie is not going to like Maud’s coltfriend for similar reasons why she likes Maud.

A thing I like about Yona is that she’s really sweet and nice but still embodies the traits of Yak culture that we’ve seen before.

I don’t give scores but I thought the premiere was decent enough, didn’t watch the leaks.

I thought it was one of the weaker premieres.

Same. Although I did warm up to it more on a second viewing, I still don’t really like the plot and how fast paced it is.

While map expanding was interesting. I am a tad disappointed that the mane 6 won’t be travelling as much this season.
 
Given Neighsay said he hopes Twilight won’t leave the school unattended to go on her adventures. Seems like there will be less episodes out of ponyville for the main characters unless it’s a finale maybe.
 
Will probably mean the secondary and supporting cast will do more of that.
 
I’m sure the slice of life crowd will be happy though :p

Horse Play a tough one. I would give 8/10 for entertaining value, but Celestia fans should feel dissapointed that this is all they get this season.

When i think “Celestia episode” i think about Celestia traveling with Luna or Starswirl to solve a problem with Scorpan or Queen Novo or other epic adventure. Not exactly just a comedic episode that show us how down to earth she really is.
