Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna

What the fuck, Hasbro‽ Seriously, what the fuck?
 
Luna is the goddamn vice principal of the school in Equestria Girls? What were you smoking? Is she Vice Princess Luna? No. She’s Celestia’s equal. The yin to Celestia’s yang. Sun and moon working in perfect harmony.
 
She’s younger, but she’s not Celestia’s fucking underling.
 
Maybe I’m disproportionately angry about this, but Lauren H. Tapdancing Faust, this makes me more pissed off than Twilicorn did.

Twilight is best princess. Followed by Celestia.
 
Luna can be vice princess for all I care.

What other alternatives are there other than tossing them both into the trash are there in a high-school setting?

Because schools never have two principals (Or at least American schools). They have one principal and one or two vice principals so naturally, they had to do what they had to do. The only other option I can see is making Luna the principal and Celestia the school district’s superintendent

Even with a bare minimum of thought, they’d know Luna and Celestia were coequal. That is, if they gave a fuck about Luna’s carefully crafted and balanced universe anymore.

This always struck me as really odd. In the pony world, Celestia and Luna and the unquestioned theocratic rulers of the world’s most powerful civilization. Here? They run one of thousands of schools in an outdated, poorly funded, incompetently managed educational system.
 
A background reference to “President Celestia and Vice President Luna” would have been far more fitting.

President Celestia and Vice President Luna doesn’t fix the problem. If anything, it makes it worse, because the VP’s only jobs are to break ties in the Senate, be next in the line of succession, and act so crazy that no one wants to assassinate the President.

Dude, this is a movie where a winged unicorn goes through a magical portal ala Alice Through the Looking Glass, fights a bitch who turns into a succubi, has her dragon assistant turned into a puppy and has to reclaim the trigger for six magical items and you’re honestly complaining about two princesses becoming principal and vice-principal respectively.

On another hoof, what do you mean “reclaim the trigger”? The Element of Magic isn’t the trigger; it’s one of six, and all six are needed.

On the last hoof, yes, I’m quite pissed. This shows not just disrespect for Luna, but for Equestria as a universe.
