The student six was entirely a creation of the writers, the fact that they all lacked toys really shows

Here’s another minor thing I wanted to share.

You know the expert ponies from Fluttershy Leans In? They’re labeled as jerks and antagonists in this episode and on Tvtropes and the like.

They were the obstacles to be overcome, but maybe with the exception of Dandy Grandeur, I don’t think any of them were being particularly jerk-ish. They had it in their minds what they thought was best, but they weren’t necessarily being assholes about it, they thought they were helping.
At least I think.

To be fair, they did go out of their way to be like “She doesn’t know what she is talking about. Let’s do the exact opposite of what she wants!” with maybe the exception of Wrangler, but even she just adds pillow in cages Fluttershy clearly says she doesn’t want. I’m sure they’re nice ponies but they’re clearly not used to how Fluttershy does things and changing plans without her permission is just not something they should do, especially from a business standpoint..

You’d still think those guys would keep in mind they are designing something for animals and that a lot of their designs are very specific to the point of being useless in most contexts.
Makes you wonder if they are similar to George Rodrigue who mostly paints blue dogs and they literally can only make exccessively specific kind of jobs. And if that’s the case either they never mentioned it or the Mane characters forgot to read the business cards.

Oh wow, I’ve always wanted one of those but couldn’t find them.
I used have those blind bags tho…but unfortunately their forever lost in this deep vast world. T^T

For the most part, it felt like it wasn’t “She doesn’t know what she is talking about” so much as “I don’t know what she’s talking about, so I’ll just do things the way I’m used to”. To be fair, most of Fluttershy’s instructions were so vague that there was no possibility of the experts properly understanding them - especially considering that their areas of expertise were at best tangentially related to what Fluttershy wanted.

Well, besides those - beyond the color scheme, she didn’t offer much of a concrete description of what she did want.

Sometimes I feel tired of all the earless Jazz jokes and debates. Sometimes it’s fun but sometimes it’s kinda meh or annoying

I think it’s pretty clear. She wants to keep the trees around for the animals to live in, the colors of nature so it looks natural and pleasing, and places animals can burrow in and out without feeling confined or imprisoned. She has a graph and everything. You can tell what she wants by looking at that.

Pinkie Pie has been my favorite pony for a long time; but now, It seems like recently I’m beginning to like Rainbow Dash more than Pinkie Pie. Sorry Pinkie :/
