I’ve been reading a book about Krygyzstan lately …Holy hell do they have a lot of horse/horse-rider myths/creation stories. I am not sure about puns, but there’s a lot of stuff to be mined for pony story ideas. Nearly every tiny hamlet has one, and they basically seem all transferable to Equestria.
