Naming Fluttershy's Parents, Trixie's Mom, and the Sphinx

How about Spectacle Showcase for the name of Trixie’s mom? I think I heard the idea used or suggested somewhere else, so I can’t really take full credit for the idea.

Also, Im not quite sure if this was true or not, but wasnt Fluttershy, originally going to be like a rebooted version of Posey, much like Applejack was a reboot of well, her G1 counterpart?

Call the Sphinx “Antiope”. Its Greek but that design of sphinx is greek

Yes, yes she was. Lauren Faust intended for all of the Mane 6 to be G1 inspired ponies, all of which were based on the pony toys she played with when she was a child. But that never really fell through. So the current Mane 6 got some changes in their designs and some of them are now named after G3 Ponies.
