Spectacle does sound like a really catchy unicorn name.

I have another idea for something we can make a name for, How about we think of a name for Starlight’s Village. Isn’t the name ‘Our Town’ related to Starlight’s forced message of Equality and how can we refer to the Village as Starlight’s Village if Starlight Glimmer doesn’t live in said Village. I suggest calling it “No Name” or “Nowhere”

I’m terrible with names but Flurrers dad’s name should consist of the words nimbus,cloud ,or swirl. Or maybe colts tail, or curly cloud.

I have a sphinx oc called Phix so it would pain me for that to be done.
 
I did want her to be named when she first appeared but now u think it’s best if she remains nameless

I suggested that one earlier. I think it sounds like a nice name.

The Sphinx should stay unnamed, or at least “The Sphinx.”
 
Trixie’s Mom looks like a “Sunny.”
 
As for Mr. and Mrs. Shy, Mr. Shy should be named “Nimbus Breeze” in the spirit of his cutie mark and Mrs. Shy should be “Posey.”

Though I still keep wondering why so many seem insistent on her remaining nameless. So many of the fantastic creatures have names: Steven Magnet, Cereberus, even the manticore Manny has a placeholder that was used in merchandise. And when Silverstream named one of the cockatrices, that basically sealed it. Very few reasons for Kusu not to be named

I originally came up with “Stratus Swirl” for Mr. Shy, but now I’m considering “Cirrus Swirl”. Mrs. Shy I thought of calling “Rosie Posey”. Trixie’s mom already has two names on the wiki: “Showcase” and “Spectacle”. I don’t think the Sphinx really needs a name.

Sphinx is usually used as a proper name in anything the mythical creature in question appears, even outside of MLP

Also now I’m tempted to just literally take their names as “EmAr Shy” and “EmArEs Shy” (literally pronounce the individual letters in Mr/Mrs).
