mare-era I agree had more views, more likes and less deslikes then every of the Episodes.

but Misty’s episodes actually have more views, more likes and a lower rate of dislikes than tiny trot

(I’m saying this because I really liked Misty’s episodes and I want to defend them, but i like TT too because i like cute babies stories)

Misty’s two most recent episodes, when combined, slightly surpass Tiny Trot in views at the moment…but remember that they’re older. The dislikes also don’t mean much considering that something like Written in the Starscouts, one of the most loved episodes of the show…has over 200 dislikes, more than Tiny Trot’s amount of dislikes, and a worse like-to-dislike ratio than Buried in a Good Book, which is commonly agreed to not be an especially good episode.

Do you have an extension that makes YouTube dislikes visible?

I’m not pointing out views, I’m highlighting that even with fewer views, so far more people liked these episodes and WITS are around 210 deslike to around 6700 deslikes It’s 30x more people who liked the episode

and actually Buried in a Good Book, better fits the point you’re trying to make since this episode has more likes than Misty’s recent episodes and less deslikes.

I do know that Written in the Starscouts has far more views to compensate, it’s just that there have always been highly viewed TYT episodes with BS amounts of likes/dislikes and like-to-dislike ratios. The amount of likes/dislikes is not always consistent with the views, the upload of Sparky’s Sick on the official TYT channel…only has 717 likes and 79 dislikes at the moment despite it having almost two million views.

Can I ask where you found the number of dislikes? As you may have already known, YouTube has made dislikes only visible to the uploader at least in general.

I consider more people liking more important than the number of views itself

Spaky Sick is exactly the best as soon as it came out, it became the most hated episode of TYT, it has so few likes because many people didn’t like it, but it has a lot of views because it attracted a lot of attention due to hate,
unlike written on starcout which attracted a lot of attention due to so beloved, that’s why It’s The episode with more likes.

Yes, I just use the Return YouTube Dislike extension.

I don’t go to sites to find out how many dislikes a video got, I just look at what the extension shows me.

I get why you think that, I’m just saying that likes/dislikes are definitely not always accurate. A Home to Share is the most disliked TYT episode with the worst like-to-dislike ratio of all time on the MLP official channel…and I have never, ever heard someone say that A Home to Share is the worst TYT episode of all time.

I understand this, but it’s also important to have the context, home to share along with most of the first episodes of TYT have a very low like ratio as these episodes were the first shared on the main MLP channel, having inconsistent releases in a low time lapse
and sharing with other channel, compare with the video from the channel that has the most views and likes.

It was only when the release of TYT became consistently on TYT’s own channel that the views and likes became established, for example compared to the episode P + P= BFFs on TYT’s official channel which was released first when there was already a habit of it leaving There, with the official MLP channel it has much fewer likes and views.

Context is key, yes, though I am partial to believing that A Home to Share just got dislike-bombed by MLP haters. The more popular a video gets, the more likely it is to attract…“weird people”, I’ll just say it like that. The official TYT channel is not immune to having its videos get strange amounts of likes compared to dislikes, however, with episodes like Lavarynth and Friday Night Food Fight having a notable amount of dislikes despite generally being considered to be good episodes and coming out after the official TYT channel was receiving more recognition.

I also feel like this is a good time to agree to disagree and move on from this discussion. I don’t want us to outnerd ourselves over YouTube video stats. XD

I honestly stated don’t really understand what we’re disagreeing on lol so it’s really best to wrap it up.

New episode literally just dropped, thank goodness. I’ve not watched it yet, but I have a good feeling it will at least be better than Wild Manes’ sleepover episode that, funny coincidence, came out just last Friday. Not trashing WM there ftr, I’ve warmed up to it a little, it’s just that even WM fans weren’t too impressed with that one.

Hey, we’re out of Boardtrot purgatory.

I don’t I like this episode as much as others seem to - I was never a fan of sleepover episode cliches - but the song wasn’t bad. Nice to see Misty just being part of the gang, doing stupid dances. Posey’s always good. Unfortunate for Hitch that any episode that involves sleeping at the Brighthouse is gonna exclude him by default.

Good episode.
