MLP G5 Discussion and Speculation Thread

I think what happened with the screenshot is that a number of believable summaries got posted and screencapped. Then, when we got more information, the screencap with details similar to the official info was the one that resurfaced.

So if the names of the new Mane 6 are Fizzleshake, Magic Mimics, Bright Sun, Locket Key, Sweet Sugar Pop, and Masquerade, and we have a pegasus, unicorn, kirin, seapony, changeling, and batpony, which one is which?

Kirin: Bright Sun or Fizzleshake  
Hippogriff: Fizzleshake or Sweet Sugar Pop  
Bat Pony: Masquerade or Bright Sun  
Unicorn: Locket Key, Fizzleshake or Sweet Sugar Pop  
Pegasus: Sweet Sugar Pop or Locket Key

Well… If they actually get to use those names (considering the movie’s possible plot and characters, I’m not so sure anymore), I think either Magic Mimics or Masquerade will be the changeling’s name (similar to Brass Beau’s speculation).

Based upon the only confirmed (vague) information on G5, I have another theory:
 
I am now imagining that the plot involving diversity, inclusion, and activism could be the world having “too many” alicorns (the race without age), and the main character has to find a way to solve the issue without getting rid of the alicorns altogether. Which is a simpler plot that is more able to be kid-friendly.
 
But for now, I’ll still wait for more information so I know which theory to believe (including this one).

Since I don’t have a credit card and therefore can’t get Netflix, I’ll be disappearing from the fandom when the movie drops to avoid major spoilers.

Unsurprisingly I over the saw someone saying it has nothing to do was the coronavirus.  
This is probably the best way to get to the release schedule back to normal

In Robert’s case, it isn’t surprising as he was mentioned as a potential director in one of the leaked emails from December 2017. The rest is something new!

I don’t. But a friend is allowing my family use their account, so I may be able to watch it.

The real heroes are the ones who regularly share their Netflix accounts.

Hey, can anybody with a Netflix account check if the movie already has a page there? There’s the possibility that there may not be yet (or there is, but the page is blank), but I would like to know.
