Making a direct sequel taking place after the future seen in The Last Problem at all would be a mistake, considering the world was pretty much already perfect as shown in the future as seen in The Last Problem. Good enough that the only good way to write G5 as a show taking place in the far future while still having its target audience is to make it consistently ridiculously light-hearted compared to G4, even with the stretched boundaries.
