Usually, when fans see their favorite things get ripped off or perceive such a thing, they’re not too thrilled. If you’re talking about fans “not knowing what they want”, YES, that definitely happens with every fandom.

It’s what happens when things are slow and there’s not much to talk about, I get that feeling at times too.

Sometimes I wonder if the lack of content is driving us nuts.

It would be nice hearing someone to not only try watching or reading other g5 stuff if that gets them off the belt about the generation that ended years ago. And no I’m not referring to myself. I really want them to try them out and tell me it’s still better than g4 if that’s the case.

I stopped watching TYT a while ago. But I feel like dropping it all together. Not sure if the next special will reel me back in but I guess it’s safe to say they lost us by this point. The only reason why I still watch this thread is because of interesting comments or just being amused of G4 vs G5 comments.

G5 is an improvement no doubt. But really, I wanna hear how tyt improves everything related to it. It’s no different than the generation before despite taking place in g5.

It’s totally cool if the show’s lost you. However, the show has not even come close to losing me and I’ve seen many fans who are still always excited for new episodes, believing the show has improved.

That’s why I think it depends on the viewer, who happens to have a longer patience and liking the episodes a lot. But I have seen many who are dropping TYT too. Could be the bi-weekly release or the episodes themselves. Threads have been less chatty (like this one) about it, including corresponding Discord channels. The most active I have seen were when MYM was still the main show. You don’t have to believe me, these are based on personal observations.

I knew it. I was planning at some point to interview the discord group but not sure if I want to now if those people left as quick as they came.

Just know that “we” are not the majority. “Everyone” loved the latest TYT episode, Sleepover!!…and its views pale in comparison to the most popular episodes of TYT Season 2 on the official TYT channel by viewership besides the season premiere, the first special, and Written in the Starscouts, Hall-O-Marers and Tiny Trot. You know, the episodes “everyone” complained about. I believe you about how there are people dropping it from getting tired of always having to wait two weeks for an episode and the content no longer interesting them, but those people, like us, aren’t the majority.

That Queen Cala Lilly is a well-intentioned extremist with the power of the 7 powerful artifacts and just a traumatised little queen? Maybe. But that appearance she had though. If albeit a different color, but it looks damn accurate. I really think he and Markayo should lead g5. If they’re (Hasbro) not giving us MYM there’s always theirs. Sure some of us are skeptical of many fanworks but if that’s G5’s end, what else can we get?
