I know this seems a bit of a random post to put here but this MlaaTR/PPG "[fanfic":](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/1839821/1/Echoes-of-the-Past) gave me some similar vibes for the new G5 show.
In the fic, both franchises exist in each other's universe (Which is not completely out of random, Rob Renzetti did briefly worked on PPG before settling onthisMlaaTR), a long time has passed and the work of the past heroes is almost forgotten in this new reality.
I could imagine that once the new G5 show gets off the ground with its own story, it could do something similar to this.
