Pics are cool and all, but does anyone have any thoughts on the guy? He’s one of the more mysterious characters, after all, unless you just use his comics history despite the show obviously departing from them later.

I like him, he’s my favorite antagonist of the entire series because of how smart and cunning he was in making sure no one got the Crystal Heart and that in the alternate timeline, he basically caused World War 3.

His accomplishments do speak louder than his words, don’t they? As befits his name and theme, we mostly know him bi the shadows he casts (well, until Season 9). I once thought him a rather weak, insubstantial villain, but in time I realised that lack of substance was almost a strength. (Still mostly appears in sucku eps, though.)
