Well, this fandom has made a lot of NSFW art about colored ponies from a kids show…. and then there’s one person who got so upset about the finale that they tried _{and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were still trying} to pester people into trying to get it changed, so I would say yes.

Edit: Oh yeah, there’s also one guy who won’t shut up about his dislike of Starlight Glimmer to this day (and he doesn’t have very good reasons for it either).
