How I get into G1?

I would like to watch G1 MLP. Where do I start? And what G1 media is there?

Okay first watch My Little Pony ‘n Friends: Rescue at Midnight Castle. Then watch Escape from Catrina.Then watch the actual show My Little Pony ‘n Friends. As well you could watch Mlp movie. If you’re feeling very spicy after all that, watch Mlp Tales (there’s debate if it should be considered G1 or G2 on the animated side of things since it started in the 1990’s but idk) That’s all I got.  
Also the special Midnight Castle was animated by Toei Animation, sooo that will always be an anime to me lol

No problem. They’re also these comics as well, but I think they where only sold in the Uk,so idk how you’d be able to read them a this moment.
