EqG perdiction

Ok, I’m pretty sure EqG is going to have some connection to S4, namely this: Twilight and “Brad” will meet, realize they are interested in each other and the Twilight will go back to her own world to meet up with his pony counterpart and they will be in some kind of relationship, maybe just good friends at first but later will be in a loving relationship. What will happen next? Twilight is a princess, “Brad” is a knight, now where have we seen this before? To me it’s pretty obvious what’s going to happen, but who knows? This show does have some crazy twists now and then. What do you think?

That would be kinda cool to see “Brad” show up somehow in S4. I know everyone elses HATES the idea, but I think them getting together would be kinda cool and pretty cute. Twibrad is best ship.
 
 
My bet is the two shows are gonna remain separate though.
 
Which I really hope they do, not because it would be bad idea (as I said, I think it would be cool) but because we don’t need anymore people screaming ruined forever.

We did this story once before. It would be a bad idea to rehash that no less then two years since the first knight and princess love story.
 
Personally, Brad just feels bland and in context of the movie is pretty useless, much like the rest of the Royal Guard. Why get dragged down by that?

Why do this thing again? To sell more toys of course! Keep in mind SA and Cadence exist because Hasbro wanted to sell more toys. What better way to sell more toys than do the whole Royal Wedding thing all over again?

All I’ve seen are Cadance/member of Mane Six. Shining Armor? Does he even have a brushable?

TOO BLOODY SOON. There are still Wedding Castles on shelves and they are not going on sale. Also you want your show to become one trick pony, keep that up.

Not sure about the toys. I do know about all the fanfare about the wedding episodes though. If nothing else it would be another promotion move to attract more attention to the show and toys.

I never said I wanted it to happen, I’m just saying it seems painfully obvious Brad and Twilight will end up together just like her big brother and Cadence. EG was Hasbro’s idea after all and I think they wanted the new princess to find a prince, even if the writers were against it.

I have no idea what to expect from this series anymore.

And that is where the “a princess needs a prince to be fulfilled in life” trope will end the series. Hasbro wants to be like Disney, proceed. But if they are trying to be “ballsy” like they are with She-Zow, they won’t pull that crap.

SheZow’s proven that they believe there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Why should they? Their most successful series is successful for exactly that reason. They must love whenever a blogger writes about how offensive their shows are.
 
Unless parents complain like they did with EqG, of course.

We live in a strange world.

I actually made myself depressed thinking about EqG and Princess Twilight.
 
It was kind of meeting that one person in your life who changed your world, but then that person decided to break your heart.
 
That’s what this whole thing feels like to me honestly.
 
It’s kind of pathetic to make myself depressed like that. Is there a way to get over it?

And no, Brad in FiM is the last thing I want to see. FiM’s focus is friendship, so I’d rather not have any serious romance in it.

Almost nothing but negative feedback from parents on Facebook, many of whom said things like “I will never allow my child to watch this” or something like that. Again, a rumor I’ve heard said that the planned series got canceled partially because of this.

The weird thing is that EqG’s focus is on friendship, too. It’s apparently not all that different from FiM’s ideals.

I will draw a naughty picture of some yet to be decided thing if Brad ever appears or is even alluded to in S4.

Don’t remind me, don’t fucking remind me! I know how you feel, I’ve been (and am still going) through a similar situation with this show. How to get over it? Good question. Apparently 8 shots of gin and tonic don’t work. Confound these ponies, they lead me to hangovers!
