Twilight and Sunset funnily enough hate meme culture albeit for different reasons.

Twilight just dislikes many pop culture jokes because how they rely on hot stuff she doesn’t know…Sunset because she thinks they rely on pop culture hot stuff that gets overrated and tiring overtime.

Pegasi and dragons are theorized to be related.

Pegasi in their history have also tended to respect dragon culture more. Some pegasus aristocrats even claim to have dragon blood as a sign of nobility.

Kirin have the same earth pony magic that modern earth ponies have but they use horns instead of hooves and hypothetically it’s possible for an earth pony to go nirik.

TF2 Analysis: (spoilers for the most recent episode) Mary Sue really has it in for Tightwad over changing her form into a puzzle piece.

Rarity never had a date in high school. Back then she was known to be more of an eccentric than charming like her adult self. Unlike Applejack who actually did have some casual dates.

That’s also the reason why she wanted to marry Blueblood, because she believed with hard work and good character, anyone could be a princess.

Instead Blueblood reminded her more of those stuck up rich popular kids who looked down on her when she was a filly.

Izzy’s family is alive, they all forsaken her due to her weirdness.

Twilight’s moments of skepticism actually make a lot of sense.

Believing hexing or the pony of shadows not exiting in a magical environment sounds weird…until you realize the later was a millenium level leyend and the former wasn’t seen by many ponies. If those things should be possible in that world…why they never shown themselves for such a long time?

Indeed Twilight only changes her mind when said things happen. In other words: “If something is capable of being real…then why it doesn’t happen to begin with?”

When it comes critiquing skeptics in magical worlds, I always find there’s a fallacy in ‘how can you not believe in X if we have Y?’
Like, yes, you could be more open-minded, but one magical thing existing doesn’t mean another legend is automatically true. Now, if you’re denying something in the face of evidence, that’s another story entirely.

Skepticism is not the enemy of open mind…if anything, if the concept of open mind is a coin and the usual face is acceptance, skepticism is the alternate face of the same concept.

After all, you can’t be open minded if you accept something overzealously or if everybody just embrace any belief without acknowledging the possibility of said thing not being real. Just saying.

For sure. My point was that people like to give grief to skeptical characters that have encountered crazy stuff, but don’t believe a certain thing exists during an episode. In my mind they’re not obligated to just believe every myth and legend in their world is real just because some are. They need some evidence.

During a war in which Equestria and Abyssinia were allies, Celestia found that she likes being ridden.

Some of the view and follower numbers Pipp gives seem way too big given how recent Equestria’s collapse was, and how new pegasus technology is to the rest of Equestria.

So my headcanon is that Pipp doesn’t actually know how big the larger numbers are, which fits with her being a bit sheltered.

According this: Gryffindor is for the ones who value courage, bravery, and determination. Beyond whatever talent or skill they have, they’re driven and passionate and would not back away easily from challenges. And since I’ll take the lore descriptions, I have my own takes. They often go against the flow if they don’t believe is the correct thing, usually the most prone to take the path of most resistance. Brawny examples can be confident though also reckless, brainy examples are often great at breeding critical thinking though often prone to self-righteousness.

I mean Tirek and Chrysalis really? They’ve done nothing but deceive, manipulate, lie, backstab and betray.

Tirek: While Tirek is ambitious and cunning, his decisions are less based around duplicitousness. He’s like that when he needs it, but otherwise he easily admits to the Mane 6 his involvement with Cozy’s plan, quickly admits who he likes and dislikes, and is savvy and brave enough to admit he couldn’t get into the mountain alone so he decided to swallow his pride at that moment. Tirek is an interesting case, he’s certainly a brute but is also smarter than his fellow companions, yet he’s not like a Slytherin seeking status, rather he instead seems to follow a rather twisted sense of self-improvement.

Chrysalis: Admittedly she was a hat stall for me. I’ll be the first one to admit villains were hard to catalogue here. However, I’m gonna be honest: Chrysalis is actually the most reckless of the terrible trio. She can try to use changeling magic for disguising but her acting skills leave a lot to be desired even without Twilight in the fray since she was being downright nasty. She can make somewhat decent plans but her tendency to leap before cooking the full details make her either a Gryffindor who never learned caution or a particularly non-sneaky Slytherin who needs to use changeling magic as a crutch, considering Mean Twi told Chryssy how undercooked was her plan to steal the elements. Chrysalis ultimately believes more in that power is based in bold grabs over long term scheming, so that’s why I might have put her as an underdeveloped Gryffindor rather than a Slytherin.

At least I’ll agree Chrysalis succeeds if only because everyone else around her was dumber. Much like Animated Shockwave.

The pileated woodpecker from “It Isn’t the Mane Thing About You” is so short because of malnutrition as a nestling; it had a brown-headed cowbird nestmate and was fortunate to have survived at all.

I would actually say that it’s another flying species who took heavy cultural influence from dragons - learning from them the ways of greed and self-sufficiency.

I do think she has opene her mind some to more things being possible - but she also knows ponies imagine up all sorts of silly things too. (That there’s often little way to tell the difference can really frustrate her.)

Ravenclaws are usually vinculated with valuing intelligence. However, while it’s usually oversimplified in nerds, the true it’s more like they value creativity, side thinking and apparently they could be quirky Rowena Ravenclaw apparently was a master architect and was responsible for the moving staircase, as impractical as it sounds (High base Int, low wis maybe XD)

Another thing to note is that Ravenclaw are the most prone to become masters at their pursuits, and Pinkie is a party master, from games, to arrangements, to party gadgets.

The main problem Ravenclaws often suffer could range from overspecialization, excess of open mind within their creative process, they value any kind of intelligence and not just math, but are liable to be impractical when not well fostered. Luna Lovegood basically.

Plus, Rowena died of a broken heart just like Pinkie suffers from people rejecting her, in contrast with Gryffindor who despite the pain decided to cut his friendship with Salazar because of their fighting values.
