Rarity is a poor reader. She is good at visuals but if you were to tell ger to write a book, it would not be very good.

In fact she actually has a library in her basement and she hardly ever reads them she just likes to look at the beautiful book covers and maybe the illustrations inside.

Perhaps it’s just my wishful thinking, but, well, this isn’t the sane headcanons thread… looking at just the movie, the Mane 6 could be something Argyle made up to teach Sunny inter-tribal tolerance, perhaps loosely based on historical figures (around Hearth’s Warming pageant levels of accuracy).

Earth Ponies have a deep respect for families and ancestors that others don’t have as much of. An earth pony tradition is to give the dead a gift that they can eat in heaven.

Or here she doesn’t want to dishonor her father. Earth Ponies have a special reverance for onjects of their dead relatives. They almost have an ancestor worship thing going on.

I always thought they had this because I remember hearing somewhere how Greeks and Medieval Europeans thought there were unicorns from India who horn had special healing properties.

It would be interesting if unicorns were a Frenchlike culture with subtle Indian undertones.

I bet Saffron Massala comes from a group of unicorns who kept the old unicorn culture instead of changing like most in Canterlot.

Earth Ponies are Anglos, Unicorns are French-Indian (as in the subcontinent) and Pegasi are Greek/Turkic
