Best moral in an episode

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Which episode do you think had the best moral?

Which episode do you think presented their moral the best. (IE gives a clear reason for it to be necessary)

My favorite was AJ’s in “the last roundup” because it’s funny.

The one I thought executed their moral the best would be “Grand Galloping Gala” because it’s pretty astute. Alot can go wrong in a night but if you have people you care about and like to be around things can still be pretty alright.

I always considered that one with the CMC running the newspaper to have a good moral. It reminded me of the Spongebob episode that was similar.

Best moral, huh? I think “A Friend Indeed” would get one of those. Maybe that or “Dragon Quest,” which somewhat made up for the way the episode was bungled.

Tricky. I’d probably say Applebuck Season. The moral may have been done before, but not too often.

@Corona
Magical Mystery Cure. What was the moral of that episode? Be a good friend? There wasn’t much to teach in that garbled mess of an episode.

I think the moral of “Magical Mystery Cure” was “stick to what you’re good at” or something along the lines of that.

Party of One had the best moral. Morals were one of the reasons I started watching the show, so I could learn to be a better person. Not sure if it’s working.

Clock. Is. Ticking.
In terms of entertainment value, “The Last Roundup” without question.

In terms of which one I actually found the most useful, either “Hurricane Fluttershy” or maybe the secondary moral of “Lesson Zero”.

Hurricane Fluttershy.
But I guess that just might be because it connected with me on a personal level. I occasionally find myself using that episode to put things into perspective again after I get down on myself too much.

Huh, funny, now that you mention it I never felt that any of the morals really worked. The episode always seemed to be about something completely different than what was learned from it.

The ones where they worked the best were the ones with simple but common problems, like different people (Look Before You Sleep) or siblings (Sisterhooves Social) or relatives (Family Appreciation Day) being nice to each other.

I liked the little tortoise-and-hare lesson they did with Twilight in fall weather friends (especially because it was an extra lesson on top of the RD & AJ But overall I’ve found better advice in fortune cookies than MLP.

Actually…Boast Busters wasn’t so bad. It dug a bit deeper by playing on the insecurity of not wanting to do something for fear of being seen the same as someone else who was despised for doing the same thing.

FiM does not really explore problems. It’s just comedy with versions of “let’s all be nice to each other” sprinkled all over.

I liked the moral to Applebuck Season. I am also a guy who has trouble asking for help, and this Episode always makes me remember to ask others. (I know it sounds cliche)
