So I want to open commissions, but I can’t because it says I need to have a verified user link. What does this mean, and how would I get a verified user link?

Go to your profile and click on “User Links” in the sidebar on the left. There you can link an external page (e.g. your Twitter, DeviantArt, etc.) and artist tag to your profile.
