Damn. I stopped at 420 for the Joke Rank. But had I known that 500 would have given a better badge I would have tried for 666 instead :/

Wow, NLR had over 350 more players and we Solarites still managed to maintain a semblance of competitiveness.Holy crap, I was a Top 100 player? Dang, to think I only really participated for about 20 hours.
And I feel a bit silly being one of the 35 Top 100 players for the Solar Empire.… What am I doing with my life?.

I honestly think having switching at all was what ended up creating the disparity. People seemed more likely to switch to the NLR, and I feel like people that switched were probably more likely to be active. Something something consequences of having a “Luna” side.
I honestly think having switching at all was what ended up creating the disparity. People seemed more likely to switch to the NLR, and I feel like people that switched were probably more likely to be active. Something something consequences of having a “Luna” side. But if we didn’t had an ability to swith the team some of us may felt frustrated and/or sad because of participating in a team they don’t want to participate. I was on SE side when i just logged in. Then I looked back at my several Luna’s plushies, figurines, pinbadges, posters, pendants etc etc and at my single hand-maded pyrography Daybreaker portrait, and thouhgt “Uhh… Should I participate?”.
But actually after some time of thinking, when I’ve asked for team switch, I said that I don’t mind to stick up with SE and participate on this side. And I’ve been switched anyway. That’s sounds ironically at this point, but thanks to Celestia in all the ways it means x)

We really did hit do pretty impressively considering the odds. We even overtook them a couple times
I get you, had I’ve been assigned and stuck to the SE, I’d have gone with my life without participating with a single comment to this event. I think being able to switch was primordial
I get you, had I’ve been assigned and stuck to the SE, I’d have gone with my life without participating with a single comment to this event. I think being able to switch was primordialWell, I’ve known that only after I’ve posted the first comment, so i’ve participated on SE side without my consent anyway.
But I don’t mind, actually! And despite I like Princess Luna much more (I’m sorry, Princess Celestia!) I’ve considered that if I’d stuck in SE team, well, I’ll participate anyway. It was not a real fight but just a game, was it not? And that thought was an little inspiration for me to draw a pic I’ve uploaded then.
Sadly there isn’t an obvious good solution. The balancing that was in the initial post (particularly having the losing side get a points bonus) helps, but allowing switching seems to have more users go to Luna, as expected, which gives a pretty big advantage while not allowing it might cause some frustration.
