Shit’s already fucked here. If you aren’t a big time now you will never be, and no matter what drama is to follow. I’m done, I’m tired of the pushing pulling flipping flopping going on. I’m tired of trying to put myself out there when there are so many more who have a bigger presence than I do. Sorry for having a life and not being able to draw fetish porn 24/7, I never got the support. I am out there fending on my own for what little I do actually make, and seeing my yet few patronage and fans split in two is heartbreaking to witness. I’m pulling the plug because this site has always been bad for my business. Every commission I had ordered through here was ultimately refunded because the general population treats me like an asset and not a person.
 
Yeah, this incident was the last straw for me, because no matter the outcome I’m still gaining absolutely nothing from it.

the entire point we’re trying to make is that the most effective way to combat these mindsets is by speaking to those that have them and allowing them to exist in places we can go, if we do this they congregate on their own sites and begin to steep, become more extreme and more hateful
 
thats the opposite of what you want to happen, just because an idea is disagreeable doesnt mean it doesnt have a right to exist

Derpi has the right to implement whatever policies it wants. Artists have the right to not have their art posted here if they don’t want.
 
You have the right to allow nazi propaganda here, but others have the right to say they don’t want to be complicit in that.
 
Now, evidently, they’ve changed their mind and will be banning it again so we’ll just have to wait and see how that’s actually implemented.

now im just sad its coming to all this, has anyone made a list of the artists that went DNP over this, i want to know what i need to start archiving, as much as i might disagree with their choice, its more important to preserve the art, no matter what it might be

I’ve been talking about compromise from the start, I talked about banning comments and just letting the pictures, I’ve talked about discussing it and making calm decision.  
The staff is just being trigger happy because they don’t know what to do. They started all this as a PR response but then tries to please mobs by taking reactionnary rule change that just make the problem worse.
 
I wish everything politics would just shut down right now. I hate everything that’s happening.

its not propaganda, it never was, looking at the nazi tag, damn near everything on it can be summed up with two sentence fragments  
“the nazis had a cool ascetic” or art so cartoonish over the top in its depiction that it could be nothing but satire

sooo… can someone politely point me to were theres a run down of whats going on. woke up and twitter was on fire and im unable to figure out exactly whats going on in detail. heard its about nazi stuff but if this is all about aryanne the pone oc im kinda dissapointed in those throwing up do not posts. strong believer in black listing stuff i don’t like. but not censoring others artwork in mass. so having nazi pone blocked outright really kinda doesn’t sit well with me. if the artwork is blatantly sharing a awful opinion and rebel rousing or trying to upset people its one thing but ary was always a parody or joke character from what ive seen as well. O.o

When you consider that apolitical non-white humanizations have gotten mass-downvotes on this site for years for being “SJW propaganda” and “forced diversity” it seems to me that the appreciation for Aryanne isn’t as ironic as some claim.

The atlantic made an article saying there was a “nazi problem”, TSP (or someone else) made a reactive rule saying that Nazi propaganda picture would be banned, this caused a reaction of people saying that this move was seen as threatening for the site’s integrity regarding censorship and an overreaction and that the site should reconsider it, they reconsidered it and repealed it, and now this thread is full of people reacting saying that the website is defending Nazis and “hate speech”, so now they are going back again and banning all “offensive” pictures instead.
 
It’s a fucking mess.
