Ironically, if the site was organized more like a corporation where the “stockholders” were user accounts and the amount of “stock” one held was proportional to number of upvotes one received, you could hold the site staff to be accountable (because artists would be the owners rather than the customers). Then again that might give the anthro SFM artists enormous power because of the sheer number of content and upvotes they get The way it is, it’s more like a single ownership company where the individual owner makes all the rules. But at this stage if anyone’s donating to the site’s Patreon it’s either out of ignorance or out of support for the policy change.

I agree and I think you were treated too harshly. Again if there isn’t some serious repercussion to sending the site into a tailspin then I don’t have much confidence in the long-term. I am interested to hearing how you would “very easily” set up voting and how to prevent abuse. Even if you were to permit voting only for accounts over six months old, even though the problem would be partially curtailed then some people might set up alts and just wait.

Good points, but I still don’t think anything less than a partial replacement of the staff team would cut it.

In all honestly, it’s probably very likely the administration doesn’t care at all and would only reverse it to “save face” like a PR team for any corporation.They did it for their own interests, and they’re big enough to get away with it. Maybe I’m wrong, I’d love to be wrong. But that’s the pattern.Their language is the wallet. The best course of action on top of the DNP is revoking whatever donations you’re giving to the site. Then, just maybe, it might work.
