The Anti-Censorship DNP Pledge

The restriction of such discussion or thought is what leads to further division and only raises tensions as seen here.
 
I wouldn’t call it a “hate mob” even, but people who seem to have the common sense belief of “No speech should be restricted unless it advocates for violence.” If they do advocate for racism and violence, consequences will follow, whether criticism or a ban. This compounded by the recent actions of Reddit today and other social media shows why people really don’t take kindly to what’s going on. Just my stance.

I submitted a DNP as well. I really have enjoyed the freedom of expression on this site for many years, and I really hope the staff reconsider the ban on certain content.

is there any intent to rescind the DNP requests in the event of the recent changes being reversed

I’m trying it out for sure, but I still would definitely be wary of it, and consider withholding any full on move until its free and open to all for a while. I’ve seen a few sites like this in the past sprout up, and spontaneously fall apart out of seemingly nowhere leaving many users who have created communities there shattered.
 
Always have a backup, and actively maintain it. That doesn’t just apply to data.

Varies from artist to artist I think, some want to move to somewhere else because they no longer can trust the administration while others just want this ban removed.

I’ve been putting this off as I thought at least SOMETHING would be done by now but I’m going sign the DNP pledge. I could write a novel about this mess but these last couple of days have drained me and its just not worth it when everybody knows what went wrong.  
The mods got power hungry and really pushed it with the BLM stuff, then thought they could get away with this “nazi ban” but oh boy were they wrong. Everyone’s already said what can be said at this point. I WANT keep using this site as it’s one of the best image boorus on the internet but I hope to god if they address this issue it does nothing to appease the woketards they tried to pander to in the first place.

Like you can’t post nazi pone? okay? who cares? the DNP does nothing but allows other artists to take the audience you would have gotten, so please do run to mixer 2.0 aka pillow fort. I also get that it’s a gesture that some people are doing this who haven’t made pony content in like years. but I can’t help but laugh that they don’t want the creations they won’t be making to be posted on the site. People complain about mouth peice usage, but what literally is nazi pone then? idk just kinda cringe.

If I had my artwork on this site I would be frustrated and probably pull out too, because if they censor an OC like Aryanne (which is mostly jokes or porn), who’s to say they won’t censor other tags? Banning tags with no other reason other than “We don’t like it” shouldn’t be the foundation for your pony artwork website. You should be allowing EVERY artist to share their work because that’s important, disallowing it just for being something the mod team doesn’t personally enjoy is bad. There are plenty of people cheering Derpi on and demanding other tags be banned, and with the way things are looking they will most likely have their way.

i think it’s funny how so many finds people who draw ponies with a swastika slapped on it horrible like it’s the most evil thing in this world while there’s even bigger problems going on in the world but no, it’s the evil nazi ponies that’s the problem here. Fucking hell, if Hitler and his nazis would have seen this shit, they wouldn’t have liked any of it. I can’t believe anyone would find this shit so offensive, i always thought it looks more like making fun of the nazis instead of praising them.

No one owes you the ability to post what you want here. and various sites all have various rules against what individuals can and can’t post. if you don’t like you’re free to leave but this big uproar is just kinda cringey. Like just leave lol. Back in the day, we would make fun kids making huge statements about leaving the fandom 5 ever.

If the offending mods have been removed and the policy reversed, I would be interested in reviving my old-old account if I could get in to it (deliberately nuked the pass) and moderate as a right-leaning open minded individual not beholden to media influence, only to the actual artwork.  
I don’t want to see Derpi fail, but I will eat popcorn over its dead corpse if that becomes the case.

Note that as of 42 minutes ago, the change to rule 5 has been removed. The change to rule 0 has not yet, however.
