We have just released a major update to the "[site rules":](/rules), so that they would be better organized, clearer, and easier to understand. Overall, the rules are largely the same as they were previously. However, a few of the rules have different numbers as a few items were merged together and rearranged.


 
Please be sure to "[check them out":](/rules), and if you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to leave them in the comments below.


 
For reference/historical purposes, the old set of rules is available [here](/meta/old-rules), but please note that they are no longer the rules governing the site.
