Site downtime

What the heck was going on earlier today? I was constantly getting 52x errors when trying to access the site, and there was no official announcement on any downtime, hell, it doesn’t seem like the site was down at all. Was it being blocked here for some reason or another?

Probably a Cloudflare node near you was down; has happened a few times, but with the exception of one troublesome node serving parts of Southeast Asia and Oceania it usually doesn’t last long.
 
Unfortunately the only workaround involves using a VPN to get your connection to go through another region. Maybe changing DNS would do something but I’m not sure that’d really have an effect.

If it’s the one in Melbourne, it’s been raining something horrid here lately. It’s up right now but I’m not sure how much longer it’ll last…
