The scraper (aka. the "Fetch" button) has been updated to support multiple images per link, letting you select from all images found on a URL by clicking the one you want to upload. Additionally, Twitter statuses and Tumblr text & link posts can now be used with it.
For Twitter statuses the scraper will always get the highest possible quality image from Twitter's servers. With this the confusion of using PNGs that are actually just JPGs re-saved as PNGs should be eliminated. Everyone who uploads from Twitter is now advised to use the scraper to prevent any confusion.
For Tumblr text posts the scraper will find any images uploaded through Tumblr's editor and allow you to upload any of them. Images inserted using other methods will not be detected by the scraper, for those you will need to use direct links.
Tumblr link posts are treated as if you entered the link within the post into the scraper, which means that the link in the post must be supported by the scraper in order for the Fetch button to work.
The error messages have also been improved where possible. When fetching Twitter or Tumblr posts you should get more descriptive error messages telling you why the scraper could not find any images if it's an otherwise valid link.
Finally, the Tag API (/tags/tagname.json) now includes a list of aliases for the specific tag.
