Celestia-fucking-damn it, the bias in Poll #4’s results couldn’t be more obvious.
And you don’t even have all the current staff vote on things? Even the ones marked as “unavailable”? Fucking hell, at least try to be less blatant about all this.

- First one’s an obvious joke. Get over yourself.
- Second one is fap material, nothing more.
- Third one I can kinda see why, but at the same time it’s also tagged as
le happy merchantso just filter that. - Fourth one is over the top/shock material. Not making a statement about how people should do something.
- Fifth is a play on how Derpy isn’t as smart as others around her. But again, I can at lest see why it would be up for removal. That being said, look at all those tags to filter!
- Last one; I hate Literally Whoot as much as the next guy but at least that piece has artistic merit.

Sorry mods, I managed to read this message prior to it being deleted and I don’t think it was off-topic/violating Rule 6. It was absolutely worded in a super inflammatory way, but the point they made probably still required an answer. That point being:

In the “Poll on the Direction of the Current Proposal” it shows what you guys keep doing is pandering to the small minority, leaving out ~85-93% of what your community wants… not sure what the point of this thread is besides stroking your own ego. You keep on making your own internal discussions and your own internal polls all while just ignoring your community core wish: Either
- Go full on Nazi on the Nazi images
- Go back to the state on how it was before all this madness happened
That are the two options that will satisfy most people, hardly anyone is interested in the middle of the road approach that you keep on walking down… like by Celestia, how can you be so blind?!

Just because people are saying that ‘leftist’ or ‘ACAB’ content should also be deleted does not mean that they actually support deleting such content. I would rather all of it stay up: nazi and ACAB/leftist ect. But since the mod team seems so bent on banning some nazi content, you can bet that everyone will make your life hell if you don’t follow to the letter whatever convoluted rule you come up with and apply it equally.
We don’t want any censorship. But since you are forcing it on us we will make you suffer by holding you to your own rules and deleting content that you like.
There is no middle road or compromise on censorship that will make people happy. Either leave everything up or delete ALL the Nazi content. Banning only some of it will only piss everyone off with you both ‘going too far’ and ‘not going far enough’.

It honestly feels like the polls get more and more arbitrary with each new version / iteration. Would it really be that hard to add nazi or aryanne or mouthpiece to the default filter lists?
I would like to note that for the record, the “Revert Rule 0” option of the user poll currently has more votes than all other options combined, just in case you weren’t keeping tabs on how your userbase felt.

I would like to believe that you have the most noble of intentions when you suggested the idea that one mod would be assigned the role to be devil’s advocate and argue against whether a picture should be deleted.
But do you honestly expect that to work?
Can you genuinely look at the moderator team as it is right now and say “If I picked out any of them at random, they would be able to look at the image with as little bias as possible and provide an objective argument in favor of keeping it up”?
Furthermore, can you say that the team is going to hear that argument out, and genuinely consider the opposing perspective?

One thing I think I’ve learned over time is that no framework for deciding things is immune to abuse/corruption/etc., but explicitly giving people a purpose means that they become biased to it, which can counteract things the purpose fights.
Now as to whether there’d be fair consideration, there’d probably need to be someone appointed to judge who doesn’t initially favor either side to really get things into a good state, and that’s going to be difficult to figure out how to do.
