The last line is a smiley face, but that colon is parsed as something else.
This happens when a line that starts with a colon follows an empty line. (Unless nothing precedes the empty line, in which case the empty line just doesn’t exist.)
Playing with this for a little here; each line begins with a colon; every second line is followed with a blank line.

Escaping the colon fixes this, although the “escape” tool button doesn’t escape colons.

Escaping the new line right before the colon also works; it gives a slightly little different spacing. (As an escaped newline does.)
