So.. This might be a bug, but my named showed up in ny notifications as a reply. What doesn’t make sense is that someone commented right after and it didn’t pick it up.

Gah… it’s probably that time bug notification glitch where it shows replies late and thus showed your reply

When badge order get reversed?

They did change their display order though.  
TUA’s still tells an unintentional story, though.

Ever since a few days ago me and a friend have been having issues with getting logged out randomly and getting notifications about not having js/cookies enabled even though we do. I’ve had to log in like five times just today. Any idea what’s up? (We’re both using chrome and have 2fa enabled if that makes a difference)

New badges normally get automatically added at the left of the row, though; (mostly) they were in chronological order with the oldest at the right, but that’s been reversed from yesterday.

It’s happened before, and always at the same time as a big code update gets pushed.

There wasn’t any code update associated with the badge ordering, they were just not ordered to begin with. (Note to self: add sort to query.)
 
What happened this time was that I garbage collected the database. An unsorted query returns rows in insertion order, and when you rewrite all the tables to remove dead rows, it can happen that the insertion order of the alive rows changes.

I’d always wondered what The Deal was with that, because it never made any sense that anyone would give a flying feather about rearranging every badge set on the site, so it obviously had to be an unintended consequence of doing something else.

While I’m sure our CSS has problems in this area, there simply isn’t room to fit the numbers into that space.

I thought drama happened but they are just taking a break

Lately the site has been a bit laggy with me when browsing images, often times I will click to go to the next page and it will register me clicking on a pic instead, or I’ll go to my notifications and the URL will change but the site itself won’t start to load for another few seconds. Any idea whats causing this?

I’d suspect a problem with your browser or client. The site is consistently the fastest it has ever been for me.

Well whatever it is Derpibooru seems to be the only site effected.

Both the View Source and View options on >>1511416 give you a “Video format or MIME type is not supported” error.

It’s working for me in Chrome, Edge, and IE.  
Did not work in Firefox. Got the same “MIME type” error.
 
Just trying to collect more data:  
Other webms did work in Firefox for me. [shrug]

I’m getting the error too. I’m on Firefox, and webms normally work for me :D
