I’m still experiencing getting signed out of my account and having to sign back in it’s happened twice today

Forgive my….absolute ignorance, but does all of that mean there doesn’t seem to be a possible fix? or?

There is one, but given that galleries work entirely correctly for me locally, I need some more detailed reproduction steps.
 
My guess is that since Erlang switches from array maps to HAMT when you have more than 32 elements in a map, this issue will only manifest in galleries of size 32 or larger. Can anyone confirm this for me?

It didn’t happen when I had 17 images in a gallery, but since I increased it to 25 it started happening.
 
Just rearranging, moving one, saving, then waiting a second or two and refreshing rearranges the images seemingly at random (In a Test gallery it’s the same every time so there’s a seed somewhere, but it’s seemingly completely random. (Some images are NSFW) I have no idea what the order relevance of >>2115797 >>864629 (Nudity) >>1960150 (deleted) >>909873 >>2046466 >>2153452 >>2234139 >>2234286 (Explicit) >>704194 (Grotesque) >>2234254 >>2136373 >>2223094 >>2234296 >>301199 >>1665206 (Hyper breasts) >>1814570 >>2226428 >>2234258 (Slur) >>2234274 >>2233227 >>1403790 >>2174223 >>2234303 would be, is there a particular search that would order those exact images in that exact order?)
 
Also, the macro ant two Nootaz images are both in two of my other galleries, and when I added them those three jumped to the front in both my other galleries.
 
EDIT: When I added >>2234139 to another gallery >>2234139 moved to 8th and >>704194 moved to 4th, so manipulating the galleries seems to affect the psuedo-random order rearranging applies. Maybe try adding some of those images to one of your galleries and seeing if that affects mine? If not, then it could be affected by the way the site stores the dropdown on image pages, given the order there seems to be broken since the change…

The order of the dropdown list to add an image to a gallery should be in descending creation date of the gallery. Is it not?

Assuming that means newest to oldest, it is, but if an image is already in galleries, those are moved to the bottom. Though that might be intentional.
 
What I actually meant was the dropdown’s contents might be influencing the RNG that messes with the order of the images in the gallery upon rearranging and saving.

Some of my comments that using syntax breaks randomly, I just posted a comment yesterday with the italic syntax, back then, it works, but soon I checked back today, it broke.

Looks like it broke from being split across multiple lines. Actually nothing unusual.

Wait, what? But when I post those kind of multiple lines by split from the old software of the site, it works, damn, don’t know why Philonema is now eventually breaks the syntax for multi-split lines, back in the day during the old site software, it still works. Expect to see y’all fix that soon.

My guess is that this happens because the old Textile parser was removed and the new parser can’t deal with certain multiline formattings. The setting I described here was also deleted by that commit.
 
Just wait, it’ll be fixed.

WebM thumbnails are inconsistent. Consider this example , when “Use video thumbnails” is off, older one plays at normal speed, newer one is sped up and done in a 5 seconds or so.

Understood. They’ll only be correct for new videos.

Local Settings “Serve WebM” and “Hide uploader” aren’t working, they are always off.

Seems to be working, but Local Settings switches are shown incorrectly now. In Chrome they are shown on, in Firefox - off regardless of the actual value.

It reads out the value from the cookie.

For some reason I suddenly can’t leave comments on pictures. I could do so even just 11 hours ago. I’ve tried logging out and back in.

A recent change made them post asynchronously, to preserve search scopes. Try using a different browser?

I can’t seem to make comments on images, but can still post in forums board.

Can post comments fine in Chrome, and not even getting the refresh anymore. People, saying what browser you’re using would help.

There’s a bug where posts and images say that they were posted or uploaded “2 hours from now” when they were actually made like a minute ago. I think it has something to do with the new year, maybe.
