Something very stupid is going wrong in image processing and MIME types, which affects the extension-setting. We don’t know why yet.

There’s something else going on in >>1963470 than the image not displaying correctly. Something on that page breaks the fuzzy timestamps on comments and the uploader info. Firefox’s console says “TypeError: /\.(\w+?)$/.exec(...) is null”. That error does not appear in other image’s pages (I tested four other images).

Probably a pretty minor bug that I doubt anyone would notice, but your camo service returns BODY content when it is poked with a HEAD request.

Sometimes when clicking a preview image to load the fullsize image it doesn’t register the click and remains on the preview image.

I’m noticing that older .gif image pages, say ~3 years or so, haven’t been loading properly recently (the past week?), either.

Not every image has a larger size to display.

I know, but it’s happened a few times on images that do.

Some of them only have one expanded view instead of two, and I think clicking once doesn’t do anything on those, you have to click them twice.

The problem is, sometimes I click, then on saving the image the filename is “large”.

That’s what used to happen if you right-clicked the standard display image to Save As without first clicking on it to get the larger display version, but I honestly didn’t think that happened anymore after they changed up the system so the tags no longer appear in the filename unless you click the download button.

site merges are taking longer than they should.

Two hours is will within our usual time for merges. Remember, it is a manual process that requires examination by volunteer staff.

Not sure if it’s intentional or a bug, but when uploading, after fetching a link, then replacing the link with the preferred upload without re-fetching, it will upload only the fetched link instead of the new (and higher-quality in my at least 2 cases) upload.

As of today, I am suddenly unable to edit my comments on pictures. The edit button is gone. I am running the latest Opera on Ubuntu 18.04.1, but I doubt that’s relevant.

You mean the description? If you mean actual comments, there has always been a 15 minute limit for non-staff.

I’ve even tried shrinking the images by size.

I uploaded >>1971618 fine… Hmm… In that case the account could be corrupt… I almost had that happen to my Steam account once because of some glitched Gmod subs…
 
EDIT: A suggestion, can the original uploader of an image be changed? If so, try changing >>977849 and >>1971618 to another user then back again and seeing what happens. It probably won’t help any, but it’s my first guess…
